Excellent food AND service!!! If you’re looking for authentic fresh Mexican food this is the place! Family owned and operated. Food is always consistently amazing, you won’t be disappointed !!! My favorite dishes are the Hacienda Special and the Quesa-Birria. The service is also fantastic. I give it 10 stars!!
Always amazing food and great service! They are so friendly and accommodating to people with special needs or dietary restrictions. The owner is very nice and greets all customers. We visit almost weekly and have never been disappointed in the slightest. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more!
This place is a true gem in the community. The food is always fresh tasting and made to order. The service is impeccable and the restaurant is very clean! My entire family loves the food here and my favorite are the fajitas! Not only is this an amazing restaurant to eat but the owner is good to the community! Which makes this place even more amazing!
Me and my hubby and friends and family LOVE Hacienda (Chestnut location) and we are frequent customers. Bianca and her hubby are the owners and they always make us feel so welcome. My employer provides lunch for us once a month and I convinced my boss to give Hacienda a try. They absolutely knocked it out of the park. The food was amazing as always!! We came to El Rey for my birthday lunch because the original restaurant we planned to go to was closed. This was only the second time going, the first time when they first opened years ago. It was good then and it is exceptional now. The salsa served with the tortilla chips was just as I like it: thick and spicy, though you get a mild one too. But the Hacienda plate, full of plump shrimp, chicken and steak strips, and a homemade cheese sauce was simply mouth-watering! And it was a large portion for lunch. I took half home to enjoy later. The top shelf margarita was worth the extra because it was a generous pour and an attractive presentation with fresh fruit slices. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. When the waitress realized it was my birthday, she offered me a complimentary dessert. My only complaint, if you'd call it that, is indoors was extremely cold. We ate outside to be more comfortable. I'd highly recommend El Rey for fresh, well curated Mexican food.
I stopped in today 4/14/25 for lunch. This is my absolute favorite restaurant. While waiting on my order, I started to not feel well. A lady approached me, who I'm assuming was either the owner or a manager. She asked if I was ok, I said yes, then she went to check on my food. My food finally came and I asked for a box immediately due to not feeling well. The lady discounted me meal heavily. I just wanted to clarify. You guys did nothing wrong. I'm always happy with your service. You didn't have to discount my meal, but thank you. I'll definitely be back when I'm feeling better.
I searched up for a friend’s birthday celebration and we were overwhelmed by the service, food and smiles on their faces. Loved this place. Would recommend for a wonderful experience to many friends around the area.
